This marks the beginning of a weekly dealie I’ve committed myself to doing called ‘Monstergirl Mondays,’ where I’ll post one fully drawn and colored monstergirl pic every week, health and time notwithstanding. This monstergirl is one suggested by Suriko, a bear berserker.

I wanted to give her an ‘always grumpy’ look, so I went with a stylized eye type. Colorwise I stuck with a brown color scheme, with an outfit design that won’t hinder her actions too much, and won’t provide too much protection. I was considering giving her a weapon, but I thought having the ability to kill an opponent with her bear hands outweighed having a nicely designed weapon. Finally, Bearzerker loves honey but when she chugs enough of the stuff, she gets drunk off of it. That leads to her performing reckless acts, often more stupid than anything else. The scars on her body are a constant sign of that recklessness. She keeps a small flask of honey on her side whenever she goes exploring, to stave off her honey cravings until she can find a town or a beehive rich with honey.
